Protect Your Family
You can’t see radon.
You can’t smell it or taste it.
But the radon levels in your home might be too high.
Exposure to radon in the home is responsible for an estimated 20,000 lung cancer deaths each year. In fact, The Surgeon General has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States today. Only smoking causes more lung cancer deaths.
Moyer Indoor | Outdoor technicians are fully certified experts in the field of Radon Protection Services. We offer FREE Radon kits to all current Moyer customers.
Radon was discovered in our back yard in Limerick, Pa. One out of every five homes that Moyer Indoor | Outdoor has tested for Radon gas has exceeded the maximum level established by the Department of Environmental Protection.
The amount of radon in the air is measured in “Pico curies per liter of air,” or pCi/L. While no level of radon gas is completely safe, the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has outlined readings of 4.0 pCi/L or higher pose a serious threat to homeowners and corrective action should be taken.
Do you know what the radon levels are in your home and what your number is? The graphic helps demonstrate the importance of knowing what your “radon number” is.
