How does Aeration & Seeding work and why is it so important?

The Aeration process pokes holes through the thick thatch layer of your lawn, allowing us to apply seed and nutrients down into the root system. These holes also allow oxygen and water to easily reach the newly planted seed and existing root systems.

These are the soil “cores” that are left over after the aeration process. These dirt clumps break down and melt back into your lawn.

Starting Aeration & Seeding by the early fall, while the soil is still warm from the summer sun, allows for better seed germination and gives your lawn additional strength to weather the winter. The process also builds stronger root systems, leading to thicker, greener grass.
