What does it cost for the technician to come to my home?

The cost to have a trained and professional technician to come to your home and diagnose the problem is $99 during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm). For after-hours emergencies, the cost is $199. When you sign up for a service plan, the $99 fee for regular business hours is waived with approval to complete work, and the after-hours rate is reduced to $99.

During which time frames do you offer services?

Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We offer appointments based on availability during those hours. For same-day emergencies, a customer service representative will take your phone number and a technician will notify you with an arrival time. For scheduled services, a 4-hour window for arrival is typically given. Nights and weekends are reserved for after-hours emergency service.

Are estimates free?

We provide free estimates for plumbing equipment replacements. If your concern requires a diagnosis, you would be responsible for the diagnostic service. After an assessment, your technician will give you a proper diagnosis and a price to continue with that work. If you decide against proceeding with the recommended work, you are still responsible for the service fee.

Do you schedule appointments for weekends?

Nights and weekends are reserved for emergency services during non-business hours. At this time, we are not pre-scheduling work for weekend service. If you have an emergency outside of regular business hours, we offer 24-hour emergency service.

You can call 215.799.2019 and choose option 1 to speak to a live representative. We will work to find you the best appointment to accommodate your schedule.

When will my technician arrive?

On the day of service, the technician will contact you with an estimated arrival time.

How can I pay my invoice?

The technician will collect payment upon completion of your services or if you have special payment arrangements, you can pay by phone (credit and debit only) at 215.799.2019, or by logging on to our payment portal and creating an account.

Why does my invoice not state parts and labor?

We have pre-packaged flat rate prices that include all parts, labor and other materials, to give you an up-front and honest price, with no surprises. The flat rate is the same affordable rate, regardless of how long your technician spends in your home.

What are your service areas?

The Heat & Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Heating Fuel departments service most areas of Bucks and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania. Please call 215.799.2019 to check if your address is within our service area.

How long does a heating or air conditioning system tune-up take?

Typically, tune-ups for heating and air conditioning systems take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours per system. The length of the tune-up depends on the age and condition of the system(s).

Are water tests free?

If you are concerned with the quality of your water in your home, we offer free water tests to help you decide if you’re in need of any water treatment. Our water tests include testing for hardness, dissolved solids (ppm, parts per million), iron content, chlorine content and pH range levels. Our plumbers will review your water test results with you on-site, and give you recommendations to suit your needs.

I called over the weekend to have a plumber come out sometime the following week to check on some of our pipes in the basement and bathrooms. First thing Monday morning I received a call saying that Colin Tucci would be out within the next 20 mins. He was on time and very helpful while making sure to explain every step to both my wife and I. His work was very clean and he made sure to wear his mask and shoe coverings the whole time. I will continue to call Moyer Indoor/Outdoor with all my home service needs.

Moyer’s has always been good to us. Their customer service is excellent and the repair work had always been great. Just had some plumbing done and the repair guy did a wonderful job. Jim L. was knowledgeable, friendly, polite and I would recommend him to everyone.

Paul and Jacob did a great job of re-piping some drain pipes. Had a minor leak later that evening which ended up being a manufacturer error with a catch drain. Within 20 mins of calling on 2 separate occasions (at first it seemed to be fixed by tightening some bolts) Jim came out. He was really personable and it’s apparent he genuinely cares. Plus, my dog loved him (my dog is not typically friendly with strangers). This meant I didn’t have to worry about locking him up! Overall, I’ve used Moyer for other services and they are always excellent. I’ve had numerous horrible experiences with other plumbing companies and contractors who didn’t care about customer satisfaction and who clearly only cared about making a profit. Moyer employees are honest, punctual, reasonably priced, and provide quality service. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for your plumbing needs!
