When can I mow my lawn after I have had an application?
We recommend waiting 24 hours to mow your lawn after it has had a treatment or products applied to it.
How long do I wait after an application to allow children or animals on the lawn?
Once the product has dried it is safe to allow children or animals on the lawn.
How often between applications?
We typically come out for treatments every 4 to 6 weeks, but this could change depending on your program since each property is unique.
Why do I have mushrooms on my lawn? How do you treat them?
Mushrooms on your lawn is a sign that your lawn is healthy, which is a good thing. We do not do treatments for mushrooms. You can pull them and discard them or mow the lawn as you normally would.
How short should the grass be mowed?
Only mow off 1/3 of the grass blade, leaving approximately 3 inches, to avoid insects, drought stress, and weeds that could invade the lawn. To accomplish this, we recommend using longer blades.
Why do I have so many weeds in my lawn?
Weeds are in the soil and are transported by wind and animals. Hot weather and heavy rain affect how many weeds will appear on a property. Once the weeds emerge from the soil, they can be sprayed. Some weeds are persistent and need to be sprayed several times.
How long will it take to service my lawn?
There is a specific walking speed for the correct amount of product to be applied. Taking the hose spraying into account, a wide path covers a large area. It may look fast, but thanks to the years of experience and training we give our technicians, you can be assured that the correct amount of product is being applied.
Why do I have so much moss?
Shade, moisture and soil are a few reasons that you could have moss on your lawn. To remove it, we suggest raking up the moss, collecting it, and then applying lime.
How can I get grass to grow in shaded areas?
To help with growing grass in shaded areas, we advise trimming any nearby trees to get maximum sunlight to produce better germination.
How can I fix dog urination areas?
We recommend removing the top layers of soil and reseeding the area if you know that a dog or animal has urinated on it.
How soon can I water my lawn after an application?
After a weed control application we recommend waiting approximately 24 hours before watering your lawn.
When can I mow my new grass?
As previously mentioned, we recommend leaving approximately 3 inches of grass when you do cut your lawn. With that being the case, you should wait until the new grass is at least 3 inches high.

Moyer has become extended family to me.
Hello. For thirteen years, Moyer has become extended family to me. After a series of challenging life changes, I moved here with my two teen children and was not sure where to go. From first call, all those years ago, I felt a metaphorical arm from Moyer wrapped around my weary, heavy shoulders. From A to Z, I could find positive adjectives to express my thoughts on Moyer. Professional, amiable, caring, compassionate, cooperative, prompt, empathetic, polite, organized, tidy, respectful, knowledgeable, trustworthy, devoted to service, understanding, helpful. I could go on. Sometimes the initial contact is an A+ to pull you in, then as the service goes deeper, there is less quality. Not so with Moyer. I recently had the pleasure of trusting Moyer for big services. Mike, Thad, Dan, (I wish I could bottle their supportive professional working skills of expertise and camaraderie…truly rarely seen.) Jim S., Jim L. …all came through to create a safer, more efficient and comfortable home for me. How can you put a good visual on peace of mind and security? Moyer. June, in the office, is my kindred spirit. Kim, Catherine, everyone I encounter I appreciate. Thank you to all who handle my heat, air, oil, pest, plumbing. I am hopefully anticipating electrical services. It is on my Santa List. Please know that I am not easily convinced in a business to take the time to write something such as this. For Moyer…it is my pleasure. My deepest gratitude from my heart. I keep you in thought and prayer. Do what needs to be done to keep these wonders in staff form at Moyer even cementing their feet to the floor. God bless you. Live well. Laugh often. Love much.
"The problem has been under control ever since."
“We had Moyer come out to address a recurring rodent issue in one of our facilities that was growing into a bigger problem. The tech was able to diagnose the issue after they walked the area. The problem has been under control ever since.”
