Weeds in your landscape, whether in the lawn or in your beds, are an eyesore. These weeds compete with your lawn and plants for sun, water, and nutrients, not to mention the aches and pains they bring you following an afternoon of weed-pulling. If you’re tired of looking at the dandelions and other weeds sprouting up in your landscaping and want your weekends back, we can help.

Say Goodbye to Weeds

Professional Bed Weed Control

The best time to start preventing and removing the weeds in your landscape and lawn is now. Our seven-step seasonal lawn care program has the flexibility to fit your goals and your budget for your outdoor space. In spring we recommend pre-emergent weed control treatment. This application works below the surface, creating a barrier to prevent weeds from growing. Already have visible weeds? We can handle that too with safe and effective post-emergent treatments.

Our Experience and Trusted Process

We’ll set up a treatment schedule so all you have to do is relax and take pride in your space. We ask that you observe these post-lawn care treatment tips to ensure full effectiveness of each application:
  • Wait until the application is completely dry before allowing family members or pets on the treated area. A window of 1-4 hours is recommended.
  • Allow 24 hours before mowing your lawn. This allows the application to be completely absorbed into the weed root system.
  • Patience is key. So far these tips have all asked you to wait. Here’s one more: you may not notice an immediate result after the first application. Your treatment plan is designed to work over time. Before you realize it, your lawn will be more beautiful each day.

Common lawn weeds in our area include:

DandelionsDandelions
Once appreciated for their medicinal properties, dandelions are considered a weed by many homeowners.
CrabgrassCrabgrass
Crabgrass grows best in bare spots in your lawn and competes with healthy grass for space.
CloverClover
Clover is a perennial weed that grows best in compacted soil that is low in nitrogen. Treating your lawn with core aeration and nitrogen will help reduce your clover problem.
NutsedgeNutsedge
If your lawn has areas that retain water, that’s where you’ll typically find nutsedge, a persistent weed that spreads easily through a network of tubers, or underground stems.

Methods can range from manual removal and organic treatments to chemical herbicides. The best method often depends on the weed type, extent of infestation and homeowner preferences.

Is weed control safe for my pets and children?
It’s essential to follow label instructions and recommendations. Always ensure that children and pets stay off treated areas until they are completely dry.
