Telford is a borough located between Bucks County PA and Montgomery PA with a population of approximately 4,872. The population is split fairly evenly between the two counties. Originally known as Telford and West Telford, they consolidated in 1934. The town is named after Thomas Telford, a civil railroad engineer who worked with the North Pennsylvania Railroad Company.
